Saw this the other day when on the way to the hospital. Such a good little doggie, but I must say that I abhor the lack of a safety harness on the dog.

The rider doesn't have a harness either! Take it from this rider, the dog's safer than the chap in the half helmet. As for sailing, what's a luff? Is it like mispronounciation for love or a gruff laugh? Coz it doesn't sound like it belongs in a yacht...Pardon the intrusion to your blog, hope you don't mind me nosing around.
The part of your sail nearest the mast ( which is the vertical pole-like bit ) flaps when the sail has not been pulled tight enough or when there is turbulence. When that flapping or luffing occurs, you lose momentum and stability, hence it's important to never let your sail luff!
